I conducted a detailed usability audit of the homepage wireframes, which consisted of 10 unique sections. Using a mix of heuristic evaluation and UX best practices, I reviewed the layout with a focus on visual hierarchy, content clarity, spacing, element placement and consistency.

I delivered a comprehensive audit report that outlined high-priority issues and offered concrete design suggestions to improve readability, visual flow, and user engagement. I also provided annotated screenshots with markup for clarity and included visual examples to illustrate UX best practices.

This project was a great example of how usability guidance early in the design process can dramatically improve a product’s clarity and effectiveness. Many startups focus on features, but overlook how users perceive and navigate their offering on first glance.

By applying UX principles to early wireframes, we avoided costly rework down the line and gave the team a clearer blueprint for building a more user-friendly, high-converting landing page.

This project reaffirmed the value of usability audits not just for finished websites, but also during the design phase, when strategic design feedback can have the biggest impact.
